We were there few times trying different dishes - Pinsas and pastas were delicious. You can also buy some local ingredients for take away. Must eat location!
Dining at Casa del Pomodoro was an experience that went far beyond a simple meal. From the moment we stepped in, we were wrapped in the kind of warmth that makes you feel like a welcomed guest, not just a customer. Salvo was so attentive and recommended beautiful dishes! Then Gianfranco, the owner, took the time to share his story and how the business started. Listening to him talk about how he built Casa del Pomodoro, his love for Marzamemi, and his dedication to using local, authentic products, was deeply inspiring. You could feel the passion in every word and see it reflected in every detail of the restaurant. It’s rare to encounter that level of authenticity and pride, and it truly elevated our evening. To top it all off, Gianfranco offered us a cannolo to take home! Their kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality made our night unforgettable. If you find yourself in Marzamemi, Casa del Pomodoro is an essential experience. Don’t miss it.
This place was absolutely delicious. Offering a wide range of plates, there is no way you will be disappointed. Their fried pumpkin flowers were extremely tasty. They also offer fresh products that you can buy in their shop. I highly recommend, especially because most food places in the area are quite tourist trappy. Grazie mille!
Perfect place for dinner. The food was delicious - we had pasta and pinsa. The portions were big. Good value for money. The stuff was really friendly and smiling, putting their heart in what they're doing. The atmosphere was amazing, with the chef bringing food and saying goodbye to guests, we felt taken care of. Totally recommmend.
A really lovely place a little off the touristy restaurants but offering local produce and home made food. Ideal for lunch in particular. Great selection of Sicilian wines too and a great selection of local produce to take back with you.
Excellent Spot for Lunch – Great Value! A fantastic place for an afternoon meal – outstanding quality for the price. Out of all the places we tried, this was by far the most affordable without sacrificing taste. Bonus: They also sell Italian specialties, wine, and fresh vegetables! Highly recommend for a delicious and budget-friendly lunch.
This is a wonderful place that combines a store with traditional Italian delicacies and fresh vegetables with an amazing Italian kitchen. Undoubtedly, all the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. We tried the outstanding zucchini flowers and various types of spaghetti, which were excellently prepared. Special praise goes to the service, as the two-person team managed to take care of all the guests flawlessly. It’s also worth trying the local wines, which are available here at a very reasonable price.
The pizza at this restaurant is truly exceptional. The crust is light and crispy on the outside while soft and chewy on the inside, creating the perfect base for the toppings. The tomato sauce is fresh and full of flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The cheese is perfectly melted and stretches beautifully with every slice. Each ingredient tastes carefully selected and the balance of flavors is spot on. Whether you choose a classic Margherita or a more creative option, every bite feels like a little piece of Italy. This pizza is an absolute delight from start to finish.
